Srinagar

About Srinagar

Srinagar is the heart of the Kashmir Valley — famous for Dal Lake, shikara rides, and houseboats. The Mughal gardens (Nishat, Shalimar, Chashme Shahi) are must-see; winters are very cold and the lake can ice at the edges. Good base for Gulmarg or Pahalgam day trips when roads are open.
