How to Reach Pelling

Intercity connectivity and travel options

Bagdogra airport (~140 km) or Pakyong airport (limited flights, ~100 km) are nearest. New Jalpaiguri (NJP) railhead then road via Jorethang or Ravangla. No permit required for West Sikkim.

Hired taxis and shared jeeps from Gangtok (~130 km) or Jorethang (~35 km). No public transport to major viewpoints. Autos within Pelling town.

Pelling Skywalk and Pemayangtse Monastery are at different elevations - hire a taxi for the day rather than walking between sites on steep roads.
