Pelling Skywalk and Chenrezig Statue

The Pelling Skywalk is an elevated glass bottomed footbridge, built as India's first structure of its kind at an elevation of over 7000 feet. It leads toward the base of a large Chenrezig statue, reached either via the skywalk or a hiking trail, with several hundred steps required to reach the statue itself. The glass surface underfoot is not recommended for visitors uneasy with heights, though the views it offers are hard to match elsewhere in Pelling.
