Geyzing Holy Wall

Geyzing, the administrative headquarters of West Sikkim, sits about nine kilometers from Pelling and serves mainly as a transport hub for buses and shared jeeps to Siliguri and Gangtok. Its main point of interest for visitors is a 200 yard long, ten foot high holy wall inscribed with prayers, a modest but locally significant religious structure. Most travelers pass through rather than linger, though the wall is worth a brief stop.
