Datta Jayanti, also known as **Dattatreya Jayanti**, is the birth anniversary of Lord Dattatreya, celebrated on the full moon day (Purnima) of the Margashirsha month. The day honours Lord Dattatreya, believed to be the combined incarnation of Brahma, Vishnu and Mahesh. Devotees observe the occasion with fasting, prayers, chanting of Datta Bavani and reading the Avadhuta Gita or Guru Charitra. Sunburn Festival
**Sunburn Festival 2026** is the 19th edition of Asia’s biggest EDM festival, which moved out of Goa to Mumbai for the first time in 2025. Scheduled for **18 and 19 December 2026** at **Mahalaxmi Racecourse**, the edition comes with the theme **“Awaken the Core”** and a shorter two day format, followed by a closing party at the NSCI Dome on 20 December. Organisers highlight that Mumbai’s improved connectivity, space, and infrastructure will elevate the overall festival experience. The lineup is announced in phases by the organisers, and the festival remains one of the most anticipated EDM events of the year. With Mumbai hosting for a second year, Sunburn 2026 continues to blend its signature energy with an urban setting.
