Tata Mumbai Marathon
One of Asia's biggest marathons starts at CSMT on Sunday 17 January 2027, with the full marathon route crossing the Bandra Worli Sea Link.
The Tata Mumbai Marathon is one of the biggest road races in Asia and a World Athletics Label event. The 2027 edition is on Sunday 17 January, with the full marathon starting at Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus in the early morning.
Race categories include the full marathon, half marathon, 10K, Dream Run, and runs for senior citizens and champions with disability. The full marathon route takes in Marine Drive, Peddar Road and the Bandra Worli Sea Link. Elite international runners race alongside tens of thousands of amateurs, and residents line the streets to cheer.
Registration is through the official Procam website, and full marathon entries for 2027 close on 5 November 2026 or earlier if places fill. If you are coming to watch, Marine Drive and Peddar Road are good spots, and local trains are the easiest way to get around as many roads in South Mumbai are closed on race morning.
