Best window for Solang Valley, Rohtang Pass access, and Kullu valley sightseeing. River is full and weather is pleasant in the lower town. Rohtang opens around May depending on snow clearance.
Keep in mind
May and June are extremely crowded. Mall Road and Rohtang road see heavy tourist traffic. Book stays well ahead.
