Bhrigu Lake Trek

The Bhrigu Lake Trek is a popular 3-4 day high-altitude trek starting from Gulaba, located about 22 km from Manali. The trail leads to the sacred Bhrigu Lake, situated at an altitude of approximately 4,300 meters (14,100 feet). According to local legend, Maharishi Bhrigu meditated near this lake, giving it spiritual significance. The lake is known for its changing colors throughout the day and is considered sacred by locals. The trek offers panoramic views of the Dhauladhar and Pir Panjal mountain ranges, passes through lush alpine meadows, dense forests, and offers opportunities to witness diverse flora and fauna. The moderate difficulty level makes it accessible to both beginners and experienced trekkers, with the best time to visit being from May to October.
