About
The Hornbill Festival is Nagaland’s grandest celebration of tribal heritage. More than 17 Naga tribes come together to showcase their vibrant culture through:
- Traditional dances & folk songs
- Indigenous sports & games
- Reconstructed morungs (traditional dormitories)
- Handicrafts, weaving & art demonstrations
- Authentic Naga cuisine (smoked meats, bamboo shoots, Raja mirchi dishes & more)
Nicknamed the “Festival of Festivals”, it’s ten unforgettable days where the colours, rhythms, and spirit of Nagaland truly come alive.
