Hornbill Festival

The Hornbill Festival is Nagaland’s grandest celebration of tribal heritage. More than 17 Naga tribes come together to showcase their vibrant culture through:

  • Traditional dances & folk songs
  • Indigenous sports & games
  • Reconstructed morungs (traditional dormitories)
  • Handicrafts, weaving & art demonstrations
  • Authentic Naga cuisine (smoked meats, bamboo shoots, Raja mirchi dishes & more)

Nicknamed the “Festival of Festivals”, it’s ten unforgettable days where the colours, rhythms, and spirit of Nagaland truly come alive.
