Delhi Kite Festival

Delhi Kite Festival (Patang Utsav) 2026 is organized by the Delhi Development Authority (DDA) in connection with Makar Sankranti celebrations.

This year, the festival will be held from January 16 to January 18, 2026, at Baansera Park, located near Sarai Kale Khan along the Yamuna floodplains in New Delhi. The event features vibrant kite-flying displays, cultural performances, exhibitions highlighting the history of kites, food stalls, and family-friendly activities.

Set in a large eco-themed bamboo park, the Delhi Kite Festival brings together locals and visitors to celebrate the joy of kite flying, seasonal change, and cultural unity in a festive open-air environment.
