Two day festival of folk music and dance at the 9th century Chand Baori stepwell in Abhaneri, about 90 km east of Jaipur.
The Abhaneri Festival is a two day cultural festival held by Rajasthan Tourism at Chand Baori, the 9th century stepwell in Abhaneri village in Dausa district, about 90 km east of Jaipur. Folk musicians and dancers from across Rajasthan perform with the stepwell's zigzag steps as the backdrop, and there are craft stalls and local food in the village. It makes an easy day trip from Jaipur; combine it with the Harshat Mata Temple next to the stepwell.
