Thambi View Point sits about 14 km above Zuluk on the Silk Route climb, roughly around 3,400 metres. On clear mornings it opens a wide look at Kanchenjunga and the stacked hairpin bends of the Zig Zag Road rising from the village. Sunrise is the prize, so most travelers leave Zuluk well before dawn. Cloud often builds by mid morning, so a second try the next day is wise if the first view is lost.
