Siikhe Lake was originally built as a water conservation project about 2.5 km from Hapoli town and has since become a peaceful tourist spot. Surrounded by pine forest, it is used for boating, birdwatching and quiet walks, with migratory birds adding seasonal interest. As the first artificial lake in the state, it also carries some historical significance beyond its recreational appeal.
