Shri Sidheshwar Nath Temple

A forest temple in Kardo housing one of the world''s largest naturally formed Shiva lingams.

Shri Sidheshwar Nath Temple sits deep in the forests of Kardo at an altitude of over 5,700 feet, built around a naturally formed Shiva lingam measuring 25 feet tall and 22 feet wide. The scale of the lingam draws both religious pilgrims and curious visitors, and the forest setting adds a sense of discovery to the approach. It stands apart from Ziro's more commonly visited Apatani cultural sites as the valley's main Hindu pilgrimage draw.
