Zaina Kadal Market clusters around the ancient Zaina Kadal Bridge in old Srinagar, a trading hub since the 15th century when Sultan Zainul Abidin commissioned the area. Stalls and shops here offer fragrant Kashmiri spices, dry fruits, copperware, silverware and traditional garments at prices closer to what locals pay. The old-city setting and the bridge itself add atmosphere that the newer markets lack.
