Indira Gandhi Memorial Tulip Garden is Asia's largest tulip garden, spreading across 30 hectares on seven terraces at the foot of the Zabarwan Range overlooking Dal Lake. Over 1.5 million bulbs across 75 varieties bloom simultaneously for roughly three weeks each spring, covering the hillside in colour from crimson to deep purple. Established in 2007 with bulbs from Keukenhof in Amsterdam, the garden also grows hyacinths, daffodils and ranunculus, and hosts an annual Tulip Festival.
