Overview
Srinagar is a town in Pauri Garhwal district on the Alaknanda, about 33 km from Pauri, and the largest town on the Rishikesh to Badrinath road. It is a common lunch or overnight stop between Devprayag and Rudraprayag. Dhari Devi Temple, on the Alaknanda a short drive upstream, is the best known shrine nearby.
