The Bactrian Camel Safari at Hunder lets visitors ride the valley's double humped camels, descendants of pack animals once used on Silk Route caravans through this corridor. Rides typically run twenty minutes in a loop across the dunes for a modest fee, gentle enough for children and older travelers. It remains one of the few places in India where this camel breed can still be seen.
