Solang Valley

Solang Valley, also known as Snow Point, is a popular adventure destination located approximately 14 km northwest of Manali at an altitude of around 2,560 meters. The valley is renowned for its adventure sports activities and stunning natural beauty. During the summer months, Solang Valley is covered with lush green meadows and offers activities like paragliding, zorbing (rolling down hills in a transparent ball), ropeway rides, and ATV rides. In winter, the valley transforms into a winter sports paradise, attracting skiers and snowboarders from around the world. The valley offers breathtaking views of snow-capped mountains, glaciers, and the surrounding peaks including Hanuman Tibba and the Solang Nullah. The area is also a starting point for several treks including the Beas Kund Trek. Solang Valley hosts various adventure festivals and competitions, particularly during the winter season.
