Known locally as Waghdari, Tiger's Leap is a cliff edge with a dramatic 650 metre drop that opens onto layered views of forested hills and distant waterfalls. The name comes from the valley's silhouette, said to resemble a tiger mid leap into the gorge below. An echo point near the main ledge adds a playful stop for visitors testing the valley's natural acoustics. Sunrise and sunset here draw photographers for the shifting light across the Western Ghats, while monsoon visits reveal mist rolling through the valley in slow, dramatic waves.
