Pawna Lake sits a short drive beyond Lonavala's core cluster of attractions, its crystal clear waters framed by the Sahyadri range and several nearby forts including Lohagad and Tikona. The lake has become a popular base for lakeside camping, with tents pitched along the shore for overnight stays under open skies. Boating and quiet evening walks along the water are the main draws, alongside some of the region's most photographed sunsets. Its slightly greater distance from town places it just beyond the usual day-trip radius, making it more suited to travelers with extra time.
