Intercity connectivity and travel options

Prayagraj airport (~180 km) is the nearest major airport. Banda railway station (~60 km) on the Jhansi-Manikpur line is the nearest railhead. NH35 connects Banda to Prayagraj.

Private taxis from Banda (~60 km) or Chitrakoot (~75 km). No public transport to the fort. Autos available in nearby Kalinjar village.

Quick Tip

Kalinjar Fort has no food stalls inside - carry water and snacks for the full circuit which takes 3-4 hours.
