Suvarna Mahal is the main Indian restaurant at Rambagh Palace, the former residence of the Maharaja of Jaipur, now run as a Taj hotel. It is set in a grand hall of the palace with gilded ceilings, chandeliers and frescoes, and the menu draws on royal recipes from Rajasthan and other princely kitchens of India. Expect high prices and dress smartly. Reservations are recommended, especially in winter.
