Nahargarh Biological Park covers about 720 hectares of forest in the Nahargarh hills, around 12 km from Jaipur along the Delhi highway near Kukas. Animals live in large enclosures across the scrub forest, among them lions, tigers, leopards, hyenas, wolves, sloth bears and crocodiles, and separate lion and tiger safaris take visitors through bigger fenced areas. More than 285 species of birds have been recorded, especially around Ram Sagar lake. The park is spread out, so allow at least half a day, and come early in winter when the animals are most active.

- Hours: 15 March to 14 October: 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM. 15 October to 14 March: 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Closed on Tuesdays. Entry ₹50 Indian, ₹20 Indian student, ₹300 foreign; vehicle and camera charges extra. Lion and tiger safaris have separate tickets.
