Kanak Vrindavan is a garden and temple complex in a valley at the foot of the Nahargarh hills, a short way off the Amer road near Jal Mahal. Its temples to Krishna date from the 18th century, with carved stone and domed pavilions, and stand among terraced lawns, fountains and old trees. It is quieter than most stops on the Amber Fort road, which makes it a good place for a short walk, and it is popular for photo shoots. Combine it with Jal Mahal on the way to or from Amer.
