1135 AD is a fine dining restaurant inside Amber Fort, reached from Jaleb Chowk. It is named after the year associated with the start of Kachhwaha rule at Amer, and its dining rooms are decorated with mirror work, painted walls and chandeliers. The menu covers Rajasthani and Mughlai food, including laal maas and dal baati, along with thalis. It is pricey but makes a good lunch stop during a visit to Amber Fort, or a dinner before the light and sound show. Book ahead for dinner.
