  • Saas Bahu Temple

    An 11th century twin-temple complex inside Gwalior Fort dedicated to Lord Vishnu, with an inscription dated 1150 CE and intricate carvings covering every surface - the larger temple's name "Saas Bahu" meaning mother-in-law and daughter-in-law.

  • Sun Temple

    A modern temple dedicated to the Sun God built in 1988 by industrialist Ghanshyam Das Birla, modelled on the Konark Sun Temple in Odisha, set within a beautifully landscaped garden called Surya Van on the outskirts of Gwalior.

  • Teli Ka Mandir

    The oldest and tallest temple inside Gwalior Fort, built in the 9th century CE by the Gujara-Pratihara rulers in a rare fusion of Dravidian and Nagara styles, standing 30 metres high with richly carved exterior walls.
