About Dalhousie

Himachal Pradesh

Overview

Dalhousie is a colonial hill station in Chamba district, spread across five ridges of deodar and pine with views toward the Dhauladhar and Pir Panjal. St. John's Church, Gandhi Chowk, and the old Mall roads still set the pace of a walkable town. Khajjiar, the meadow and lake often called Mini Switzerland, is a short drive away and is usually combined with a Dalhousie stay. Summers stay cool for long walks, and winters can bring snow on the ridges.
