Louvre Abu Dhabi sits on Saadiyat Island under a wide lattice dome designed by Jean Nouvel. Light filters through the dome onto plazas and white museum buildings that look out over the Gulf. The galleries present art and objects from many cultures in one chronological story, rather than by nation alone.
Adult tickets are AED 70 inclusive of VAT on the official site. Entry is free for under-18s, eligible UAE seniors, Art Club members with one guest, Youth and Teacher Pass holders, ICOM/ICOMOS cardholders, journalists, and People of Determination with one companion. A ticket covers galleries, exhibitions, outdoor plazas under the dome, the museum cafe, Fouquet's Abu Dhabi and the boutique during gallery hours.
The museum is open from 10:00 am to midnight. Official visit pages list galleries Monday to Thursday 10:00 am to 6:30 pm and Friday to Sunday 10:00 am to 8:30 pm, with last gallery entry 30 minutes earlier. After galleries close, access under the dome is complimentary until midnight (last entry 11:00 pm). Wheelchairs and strollers can be borrowed free at the Loan Desk. Confirm current hours and any temporary gallery closures on louvreabudhabi.ae before you go.
