Doyang Reservoir was formed by the Doyang Hydroelectric Project and has become one of Wokha district's defining landscapes. The water body sits among wooded slopes and terraced fields, with quiet mornings for photography and boat trips when conditions allow. From mid-October to mid-November, the skies and roost forests around the reservoir draw enormous numbers of migrating Amur falcons, making this stretch of Nagaland world-famous among birdwatchers. Outside falcon season the reservoir still rewards a slow drive and a lakeside walk.

- How to Reach: About 35 to 40 km from Wokha town by hired vehicle or shared Sumo toward the dam and reservoir road. Roads can be rough after rain.
