Kakatiya Kala Thoranam refers to the four ornamental sandstone arches within Warangal Fort, originally forming the entrance to a grand Shiva temple built by the Kakatiya dynasty. The arches are carved with fine geometric and floral detail and have become an enduring symbol of the region's medieval architectural achievement. Today the structure is recognised as the official emblem of the state of Telangana, making it one of the most photographed and culturally significant heritage markers in Warangal.
