Radha Damodar Temple in Vrindavan is one of the most historically significant Vaishnava temples in the Braj region, established in 1542 CE by Jiva Goswami, one of the six Goswamis of Vrindavan sent by Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu. The temple houses beautiful deities of Radha Damodar and contains the samadhi (tomb) of Jiva Goswami. Srila Prabhupada, the founder of ISKCON, lived and studied here before travelling to the West, and his room is preserved as a museum. The temple's tranquil atmosphere, ancient architecture, and connection to Vaishnava history make it one of Vrindavan's most sacred sites.
