Prem Mandir in Vrindavan is a modern white marble temple complex built by Jagadguru Kripalu Ji Maharaj and inaugurated in 2012 after eleven years of construction. The temple is dedicated to the divine love of Radha Krishna and Sita Ram, and the entire complex is conceived as a celebration of this theme. The main temple building is built from Italian marble and is intricately carved with scenes from the life of Krishna and Rama. The outer walls depict the Raas Lila and other episodes in vivid relief, and the interiors house luminous deity forms of Radha Krishna and Sita Ram. The complex is famous for its evening light show, when the entire temple is illuminated in changing colours, drawing large crowds. The surrounding gardens contain life-size dioramas depicting scenes from Krishna's life including the govardhan leela and the childhood pastimes in Vrindavan. The scale and craftsmanship make Prem Mandir one of the most visited temples in the Mathura-Vrindavan region.
