Undavalli Caves, dating to the fourth century, showcase Gupta era rock cut architecture across four storeys carved into a sandstone hill. Originally built as Jain caves, the site was later converted for Hindu worship and now houses a large reclining statue of Vishnu carved from a single piece of rock. Sculpted lions, elephants, and Thirthankara figures decorate the walls across different levels of the complex.
