Kondapalli Fort, roughly 23 kilometres from Vijayawada, dates to the 14th century and reflects a blend of Persian, Mughal, and Bahamani architectural influences shaped by its layered history. The complex includes the Dargah Darwaja entrance gate cut from a single granite boulder, along with relics, ancient coins, and sculptures. The nearby village is also known for producing the colourful Kondapalli wooden toys sold as souvenirs.
