Malik-e-Maidan is the massive medieval cannon mounted on Sherza Burj within Vijayapura's fort works. Cast in the Deccan wars era and later brought here, it is famous for its size, lion-mouthed muzzle, and the climb up the bastion for close views. Combine it with a short walk of the nearby citadel walls if you want military history beyond the tombs. Wear sturdy shoes for uneven stone steps.
