Ibrahim Rauza is the twin tomb and mosque complex of Ibrahim Adil Shah II and Taj Sultana, set in a walled garden west of the old city. Symmetrical facades, finely cut calligraphy, and a reflecting pool between the buildings give it a quieter elegance than Gol Gumbaz. Many visitors call it the Taj of the Deccan for its balanced plan. Late afternoon light on the sandstone is especially good for photos.
