Bara Kaman is the unfinished mausoleum of Ali Adil Shah II, remembered for twelve grand arches that were meant to support a far larger tomb than was ever completed. The open arches frame sky and surrounding trees, which makes the site popular for evening walks and photography. It sits close to other old-city monuments, so it fits easily after Gol Gumbaz. There is little shade at midday, so plan for cooler hours.
