Shivalaya Tirtha Kund sits directly beside Grishneshwar Jyotirlinga Temple and forms one of the site's most striking architectural features. The rectangular tank measures roughly two hundred forty by one hundred eighty five feet and is lined with volcanic stone platforms on all four sides. Fifty six carved steps descend to the water, and pilgrims traditionally take a ritual dip here before entering the temple for darshan, making it an integral stop on the same visit.
