St. John's Church

St. John's Church stands within the Vellore Fort complex and follows the Anglican tradition, making it one of the oldest churches in the Vellore Diocese. Built in 1846, the church retains much of its original colonial era charm and today works closely with Christian Medical College along with several schools and hostels in the region. Its quiet interior and modest scale offer a contrast to the grander structures elsewhere in the fort.
