Sivagiri Mutt stands as one of Kerala's most significant spiritual centres, founded by social reformer Sree Narayana Guru and home to his samadhi. Distinctive multi tiered white terraces mark the ashram's architecture, and the site draws large crowds during the Sivagiri Pilgrimage each December and January along with Guru Deva Jayanti celebrations in August.
