Sayaji Baug, also known as Kamati Baug, is a 100-acre public garden gifted to the citizens of Vadodara by Maharaja Sayajirao Gaekwad III in 1879 and is one of the largest public gardens in western India. The park contains India's largest floral clock, a zoo that houses Asiatic lions, a planetarium, a toy train, the Baroda Museum and Picture Gallery, a health museum and multiple fountains. With 98 species of trees and extensive formal gardens, the baug is the social heart of the city.
