The Shakti Temple stands in the courtyard of the Vishwanath Temple in Uttarkashi and is dedicated to the goddess of strength. Its main feature is a massive metal trident about 26 feet high, whose inscription records that King Ganeshwar built a temple here and his son Guh made the trident.
