Unakoti is a forest hillside in Tripura covered with large rock-cut Hindu sculptures and reliefs. The complex is often summed up as nearly a crore of carvings, with Shiva imagery at the centre, and it sits on India’s UNESCO Tentative List. Cooler months are best for walking the stone paths.
