Maldas Street

A narrow lane in the Bohrwadi area of Udaipur's old city, popular with locals for affordable ethnic and occasion wear. The street is packed with shops selling unstitched fabric, costume jewellery, lehengas, party wear, and a wide range of traditional Rajasthani garments at prices well below the tourist markets. Fabric-based souvenirs such as leather-bound diaries and hand-crafted puppets are also easy to find here. Open daily except Sundays.
