One of Udaipur's most iconic street markets, named after the Hathi Pol or Elephant Gate through which royal elephants once entered the City Palace. Located near the palace complex, the bazaar is the go-to spot for Pichwai and Phad paintings, miniature art, Bandhani and Leheriya fabrics, silver jewellery, embroidered juttis, and traditional Rajasthani home decor. Frequented by locals as much as tourists, it offers fairer prices than most markets in the city.
