A magnificent royal palace within the City Palace complex on the banks of Lake Pichola, built by Maharana Fateh Singh in the early 20th century. The Durbar Hall, whose foundation stone was laid by Viceroy Lord Minto in 1909, features grand chandeliers, portraits of the Mewar rulers, and the royal armoury. Now a heritage hotel managed by the Taj group, it also houses the famous Crystal Gallery and offers dining with sweeping lake views.
