Mahadev Bari is an active Shiva temple built by Maharaja Dhanya Manikya, the same ruler credited with constructing the Tripura Sundari Temple. Unlike several of Udaipur's other historic shrines, this one remains in regular use for daily worship rather than standing as a preserved ruin. Its continued role in local religious life offers visitors a sense of how Manikya era temples still function within the community today, alongside their better known Matabari counterpart.
