Tura Peak rises to about 872 metres on the eastern edge of town and offers a short forest walk to ridge views over the Garo Hills. A path once used in the colonial era still leads visitors uphill from Tura, making it a practical morning or late-afternoon outing without leaving the town belt. Wear shoes with grip after rain and carry water. Clear days reward wider views toward the Nokrek range.
