Brahmagiri Hills

Brahmagiri Hills rise directly behind the Trimbakeshwar temple, offering a moderate to hard trek of more than 600 rock cut steps toward the spot where the Godavari first emerges as a spring. Along the way, trekkers pass caves and ridge lines with panoramic views of the Trimbak range, Anjaneri, and Harihar fort. The climb is considered sacred as well as scenic, drawing pilgrims seeking blessings and hikers chasing sunrise views over the Western Ghats.
